Difficult travel conditions are becoming more likely for the mountains Friday night - Saturday night. We'll start off with mainly light snow late tonight and Friday in the high country, although several inches will occur near and north of Rabbit Ears Pass.
The main storm will then arrive in earnest Friday night and then continue through Saturday. This is likely to be a wind driven and potentially heavy snow event. High probabilities of snowfall greater than 8 inches exists, with amounts up to two feet possible in the northern Gore and Park Ranges and Rabbit Ears Pass area.
